WATCH: THE PLAYERS Championship: Friday Recap

Friday's play may have been halted early due to weather, but there was still plenty of action and plenty of talking points from TPC Sawgrass.

One of the biggest talking points was Jon Rahm's withdrawal due to illness. Riding the PGA TOUR's longest cuts made streak, Rahm looked good to extend that this week before pulling out prior to the second round.

Ben Griffin's solid round of 71 saw him secure a place in the final group on Saturday, while Jason Day and Viktor Hovland made moves.
