Outsiders 0-2 loss to Vitality confirmed FaZe's qualification for the ESL Pro League Season 15 playoffs.
FaZe became the final team from Group B to qualify for the ESL Pro League Season 15 playoffs after Outsiders fluffed their lines against Vitality.
A map win for Outsiders would have required FaZe to win their game against FURIA to qualify, but the Russian squad were unable to put the pressure on.
Vitality, who were unable to qualify themselves after a disappointing run, saved their best performance until last, with Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier leading the charge.
In truth, it wasn't a close game, with below-par performances from the usually reliable Mareks 'YEKINDAR' Gaļinskis and Aleksei 'Qikert' Golubev seeing Outsiders lose Dust2 7-16 and Inferno 13-16.

The loss guaranteed FaZe's passage into the playoffs, but the IEM Katowice winners capped off their group stage campaign in style, defeating FURIA 2-1 in a nail-biting series.
Both teams picked up their opponents map choice in dominant fashion, FaZe winning Nuke 16-9, while FURIA landed Inferno in a 16-6 rout.
That set up a final map showdown on Mirage and after leading 10-5 at the half, FaZe looked to be in deep trouble as FURIA's strong defence saw them wrestle back into a 13-12 lead after 25 rounds.
Despite heroics from FURIA's Rafael "saffee" Costa, FaZe denied the comeback, winning the final four rounds on the spin thanks to excellent play calling by in-game leader Finn "karrigan" Andersen.
Considered the group of death by many, Group B ultimately saw FURIA, ENCE and FaZe qualify for the playoffs, with Vitality, Outsiders and Sprout missing out.
