One of the most exciting games on Monday night features the NBA-best Boston Celtics visiting the Toronto Raptors north of the border.
Jayson Tatum and the Celtics have been on a roll recently and are coming off a blowout win against the Houston Rockets.
As for the Raptors, they are still trying to get used to the additions of RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, while adapting to the loss of OG Anunoby on defense.
Boston remains the only team in the association that has single-digit losses and that is not expected to change on Monday, with the Celtics favored to take the win.
Boston’s starters have been well rested after back-to-back blowouts, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see another big win for the Celtics.

Boston Celtics -7.0 (-110)
The Boston Celtics have cemented themselves as the team to beat this season. Boston’s starting lineup features five elite playmakers who are all in the running to be an All-Star this year.
The Celtics are 3-0 against the Raptors this season and have been able to dominate the Raptors from the perimeter.
The Raptors will be without Jakob Poeltl on Monday night which will hurt their offensive presence in the paint. Kristaps Porzingis is in line to have a big night for points and rebounds because of that and the Celtics should be able take advantage of the Raptors from the perimeter and the paint.
Kristaps Porzingis to score 20 or more points (-130)
With the Raptors missing Jakob Poeltl, they could be vulnerable in the paint. Only Pascal Siakam will be in the paint to defend the rim, and since Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown drive to the basket constantly, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Siakam in foul trouble. Besides defending the rim from Tatum and Brown, Siakam will be matched up with Kristaps Porzingis the entire night.
Porzingis is a threat on offense because he can shoot from the perimeter while also being able to post up anybody in the paint. The big man should be a big part in the offensive game plan with Poeltl out, so he should be able to rack up the points against Toronto.
The Celtics have been arguably the best team in the NBA because of their elite offense and even better defense.
Heading into Monday night, the Celtics average 121.4 points per game, which ranks 5th best in the association.
As for the Raptors, they rank in the bottom half of the league in points per game while also allowing opponents to score over 117 points per game.
While Toronto struggles on defense, the Celtics have been elite at defending the rim.
Boston ranks 1st in the NBA in average scoring margin as it has nearly a +10 point margin this season. In comparison, the Raptors have a -1.6 average point margin.
This will be the 4th meeting between the Celtics and Raptors this season. Here is how each team has fared in the season series as we head into Monday night’s game.
