Now that the dust has settled on the FedEx Cup Playoffs, we have taken a look at how things ended up for the five Canadian players that featured.
Viktor Hovland produced a sublime performance to win the Tour Championship after finishing on -27, five strokes clear of nearest challenger Xander Schauffele of the United States.
There were also five Canadian players that managed to qualify for the FedEx Cup Playoffs and we have looked at how each individual performed, starting with Mackenzie Hughes.
Final FedEx Cup position - 51st
Having finished in the top 70 of the FedEx Cup standings, Hughes qualified for the first of the three events, the St. Jude Championship, but he knew a strong performance was needed to make the top 50 quota for the BMW Championship.
Unfortunately, the 32-year-old could only finish T58 and, to make matters worse, it meant he missed out on a place in the next tournament by one place after ending up 51st in the FedEx Cup standings.
It was still a solid-enough season for Hughes and his aim will now be to get back to winning ways, having last tasted success at the Sanderson Farms Championship in October 2022.
Final FedEx Cup position - 45th
One of four Canadian players to feature in the BMW Championship, Adam Hadwin headed into the event on the back of a tied-ninth finish at the St. Jude Championship.
However, the 35-year-old, whose only PGA Tour victory came at the 2017 Valspar Championship, struggled to a 44th-place effort at the BMW and missed out a spot at the Tour Championship as a result.
Final FedEx Cup position - 37th
Faring slightly better than Hadwin was Adam Svensson, who also failed to qualify for the Tour Championship but did finish higher in the FedEx Cup standings at 37th.
The 29-year-old impressed at the BMW, finishing T15, but that wasn't enough to propel him into the top 30 and his focus will be on making the improvements to his game to move onto the next level.
Svensson’s last victory came at the 2022 RSM Classic, where he finished two strokes ahead of Brian Harman, Callum Tarren and Sahith Theegala.
Final FedEx Cup position - 26th
Corey Conners is the highest-ranked men's Canadian player in the world at 31st, six positions shy of his career-high, and he featured in all three FedEx Cup Playoffs events.
The two-time Valero Texas Open champion posted top-10 finishes at the St. Jude and BMW to secure his place at the Tour Championship, where he ended up 26th after four difficult days.
Conners has three top-10s at the US Masters and he is +6600 to win the 2024 edition at Augusta National.
Final FedEx Cup position - 25th
Pipping Conners to the highest finish of a Canadian player was Nick Taylor, who was one shot better off than his compatriot at the Tour Championship as he ended up 25th overall.
The 35-year-old, who returned to the winners' circle this year when landing the RBC Canadian Open, was T24 and 47th in the St. Jude and BMW respectively.
