Sampi have announced the formation of a new Slovakian roster headlined by Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovacs.
"GuardiaN" will also be joined by four young prospects pulled from Enterprise, eSuba and FACEIT Pro League with the goal to compete at an international level.
The six-time top 20 player in the world spent 2021 playing under the Singularity and Trident banners but was not able to find much success in tournament appearances with both teams.
Now, the 30-year-old returns to a domestic lineup for the first time in 10 years. Where he will be taking aim at once again becoming the best sniper in the world despite his age. You can follow the action via our Sports Live Streaming platform.
Playing alongside the acclaimed AWPer is Matus "MATYS" Simko, who was purchased from Enterprise and is considered in the domestic scene to be one of the most talented players outside of SINNERS.
In-game leadership duties will be assumed by Andrej "ADEJIS" Kamenistiak, who was benched from Enterprise in February.
Rounding out the roster is former eSuba member Lukas "sAvana1" Lintner, as well as an unknown prospect in Michal "T4gg3D" Vrzal, who was selected based on his performances in FPL and his marked improvement individually seen through watching his demos.
