Gambit has announced that Konstantin "groove" Pikiner has left his position as the organisation's sporting director, a role he took in 2018, after leaving his post as the CEO.
After splitting his time between coaching and sporting director, the 39-year old is set to focus on standing behind the CS:GO team.
He will officially focus solely on coaching after he spent the last year and a half standing behind his CS:GO team all the while also doing his duties behind the scenes in a management role.
The news comes not long after a report by CIS insider Alecey "OverDrive" Birukov claiming that Gambit's current line-yp is currently on sale.

The line-up around Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov was still allowed to compete in the Dusseldorf tournament, under a neutral name, Players, but is unclear if the ban on Gambit as an organisation also applies to groove given his now-former position as the sporting director.
Players looks to still field this line-up:
Abay "HObbit" Khasenov
Timofey "interz" Yakushin
Sergey "Ax1Le"Rykhtorov
Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov
Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov
Konstantin "groove" Pikiner (coach)
