But they were unable to stir things up in the Mid-Season Invitational this time around, failing to progress to the Rumble Stage.
The team lost five of their six matches in the initial stage of the Mid-Season Invitational in a group featuring T1, Saigon Buffalo and Team Aze.

Reflecting on their performance, "Evi" claimed he accepts the result, but that he wants to continue challenging himself on the international stage and prove how good a top laner he is.
Speaking after the team's exit from the tournament, "Evi" said: "It's very unfortunate, truly, but honestly we should have played a lot better - this is a result that I accept.
"MSI (Mid-Season Invitational) is a very important tournament for us - we can measure where Japan as a region stands in the international world.
"I'm here to challenge myself individually to see how good I am on the international stage as a top laner - the reason why I'm here is to prove how good I am."
