OG and MOUZ will not attend the PGL Antwerp Major after being eliminated by Eternal Fire and Vitality respectively.
There were two major casualties at PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Europe RMR A on Wednesday, with OG and MOUZ, the world number 19 and 15 respectively, missing out on a slot at the year's first Major, which you can follow on our Sports Live Streaming hub.
OG, under new leadership from Nemanja 'nexa' Isakovic, lost out in agonising fashion to Eternal Fire, who will make their first-ever Major appearance after 16-14 wins on Vertigo and Dust 2.
The series could have swung either way but OG will rue a missed opportunity on their pick of Vertigo, where they were unable to capitalise on a 7-0 start. Big performances from Ismailcan 'XANTARES' Dortkardeş and Bugra 'Calyx' Arkin were ultimately the difference for Eternal Fire.

In the other qualification match, Vitality had to come from behind to defeat MOUZ, who took the opening map of Nuke 16-13.
MOUZ were unable to cope with a herculean performance by Mathieu 'ZywOo' Herbaut, however, who posted a 1.43 rating in a statement performance. 16-11 and 16-13 victories on Dust2 and Mirage closed out the series for the French-Danish hybrid roster.
OG and MOUZ join Dignitas, fnatic, Unique, GamerLegion and QUAZAR in missing out, while Heroic, BIG, FaZe, Natus Vincere, forZe are the other teams to qualify. A final Major spot will be fought out between Outsiders and SAW on Wednesday afternoon.
The second European qualifier for the Antwerp Major kicks off on Thursday, with the likes of G2, Players, Ninjas In Pyjamas, ENCE, Entropiq, Copenhagen Flames and Astralis bidding to qualify.
