There is plenty of high-level Esports action to enjoy this week with the League of Legends World Championship reaching the quarter-final phase following the conclusion of the groups last week.
And in the realm of Counter Strike: Global Offensive, the BLAST Premier Fall American and European showdowns begin to determine which sides will complete the line-up for next month's finals.
Although it is set to be a busy week in the world of Esports, it is a relatively quiet Monday but there is action in the form of the VALORANT Superdome.
With a prize pool of $30,000, the A-Tier event taking place in Cairo, Egypt features eight teams playing in one big group before moving on to a knockout stage. Among the teams competing are Acend, Geekay Esports and Fnatic.
Once again, Tuesday is a quiet day in the world of Esports but punters can enjoy more VALORANT action in the form of Portugal's Campeonato de Elite, which is into its second stage.
It is just over a month until the CS:GO BLAST Premier Fall Finals begin but there are still two more slots to fill in the high-profile eight-team tournament.
Already OG, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports and Ninjas In Pyjamas have qualified for the finals following their performances in the Fall Groups and the last two teams to reach the finals will be determined by the American and European showdowns.
Esports: League of Legends Worlds group matches
Both showdowns are straight knockout competitions starting with four quarter-finals and on Wednesday both get underway.
There are two matches taking place in the European showdown on Wednesday - Team Vitality vs TYLOO and Astralis vs Eternal Fire - and one taking place in the American showdown - Complexity Gaming vs Sharks.
Team Vitality are -5000 to defeat TYLOO, who can be backed at +1000, while a closer contest is expected between Astralis and Eternal Fire, who are -188 and +138 respectively to win the match.
In the one American showdown fixture, Complexity can be backed at -1000, while the Sharks are available at +550.
The first of the four League of Legends World Championship quarter-finals is scheduled for Thursday as Rogue, the only team based outside of Asia left in the competition, face giants JD Gaming.
The LEC outfit could be up against it though and they are +800 to come out on top, while JD Gaming are -2500 to win after topping Group B with a 5-1 win-loss record.
JD Gaming are among the frontrunners at this year's Worlds and can be backed at +175 to win the global event. Rogue, meanwhile, are underdogs at +6600 in the outright betting.
On Thursday there are another three fixtures in the BLAST Premier Fall American and European showdowns. Two come from the European competition - BIG vs Sangal and Heroic vs ECSTATIC - and one is in the American edition - MIBR vs Team One.
The most competitive of those three matches looks to be the American one with MIBR -275 to come out on top against Team One, who are rated +200 to win.
Friday features the second World Championship quarter-final and as it stands that is set to be LCK juggernauts T1 against Royal Never Give Up.
Royal Never Give Up can boast plenty of international pedigree, having won the Mid-Season Invitational earlier this year, but they are +175 to see off T1, who are -250 to book their spot in the tournament's semi-finals.
T1 secured their spot in the knockout stage with five wins from six matches in Group A, while Royal Never Give Up finished with an identical record in Group D but had to settle for second spot behind Gen.G.
There are just two matches in the BLAST Premier Fall showdowns on Friday and both matches come from the American showdown, completing its quarter-final schedule.
Evil Geniuses firstly lock horns with Fluxo before 00Nation take on VERTEX.
In the penultimate World Championship quarter-final of the week, red-hot Gen.G are set to lock horns with DWG KIA, who won the event back in 2020 under the banner Damwon Gaming.
This looks like one of the more one-sided quarter-finals in the draw with Gen.G fancied to win at -500, while DWG KIA are +333 to prevail. Gen.G are +163 to go the distance and win this year's World Championship.
After Sunday, the League of Legends World Championship will be down to its final four teams but there is the small matter of the last quarter-final beforehand.
It is set to be between Group C winners DRX and Edward Gaming, who finished runners-up in Group A but are defending world champions. These sides look fairly tough to separate with DRX rated +138 to get the win and Edward Gaming available at -188.
