Another hectic week of Esports lays in wait with action in Counter Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends.
While the LPL Spring and LCK Spring 2023 both edge closer to conclusions this week, European qualifying for the IEM Dallas also continues, as does the Elisa Invitational.
Here is a look ahead the coming week in the world of Esports.
Cloud9 were crowned champions of the IEM Dallas, one of the biggest events on the CS:GO circuit, in 2022 but they are at risk of missing out on the event altogether this year.
In order to make this season's IEM Rio, which starts at the end of May, Cloud9 must beat Astralis in the upper-bracket final of European qualifying.
They are -275 to do so with Astralis +200 shots to win. The loser of that contest will be knocked down into the lower bracket in which they will face the winner of OG versus Fnatic.
Those two teams are also in action on Monday in the lower-bracket semi-final with OG +100 to win and Fnatic -138 shots.
The LPL may be a little behind other major regional divisions with its Spring split schedule but it promises to be equally as enthralling and, on Tuesday, the third round of the LPL Spring Playoffs begin.
Weibo Gaming are taking on Bilibili Gaming in one of the third-round encounters but plenty of eyes will be on the game involving LNG and Oh My God.
LNG were one of the standout teams in the LPL Spring regular season this year, posting a 13-3 win-loss record, while Oh My God also made the top six.
The winners will move on to the upper bracket in round four, whereas the losers will still progress but will be competing in the lower bracket. LNG Esports are -300 favourites to win the match with Oh My God +225 to prevail.
It is in round four that things get interesting in the LPL Spring Playoffs as the regular season's top two - JD Gaming and Edward Gaming - join the fray.
JD Gaming are juggernauts on the LPL scene, having made the semi-finals of the League of Legends World Championship last year, and they will be expected to go deep.
They will face the winners of the match between Weibo Gaming and Bilibili Gaming, while Edward Gaming will face the victors from the game between LNG Esports and Oh My God.
It is easy to get swept up in the excitement of qualifying for the next major events in CS:GO but the Esport also has some decent B-Tier action on the cards this week in the form of the Elisa Invitational Spring 2023.
The European event has a prize pool of $25,000 and features plenty of up-and-coming talents to keep an eye on.
On Thursday, EYEBALLERS are -175 to win their match against LDLC, who are +125 to win.
The first week of qualifying for Major Four in the Call of Duty League is done and dusted and the second week of action gets underway on Friday.
As it stands, Los Angeles Thieves have the best seeding position with a 2-0 record at the top but they are matched by Minnesota ROKKR, who are looking to recover from a poor performance in Major Three.
On Friday, Boston Breach are -700 to beat +400 shots London Royal Ravens, while Florida Mutineers are +275 to pull off a surprise win over Seattle Surge, who are -400 to come out on top.
Finally, New York Subliners can be backed at -333 to take down Minnesota ROKKR, who are +240 to win.
South Korean juggernauts T1 and Gen.G Esports clashed in the final of last year's LCK Spring Playoffs and there could yet be a repeat of that match in this year's final.
T1 and Gen.G are the two biggest teams in South Korea's LCK and are therefore two of the biggest teams in the world of League of Legends.
And, having been in imperious form in the regular season, T1 have already booked their place in the LCK Spring Playoffs, having beaten Gen.G 3-1 in the third round.
That knocked Gen.G down to the lower bracket but they could yet make the Grand Final if they can beat KT Rolster, who they face on Saturday.
KT Rolster are fresh from beating Hanwha Life Esports in the previous round, though, and are fancied to cause a stir with both teams -120 to win the match.
Whoever wins that match between KT Rolster and Gen.G Esports will find themselves in the final of the LCK Spring Playoffs on Sunday against T1.
If Gen.G Esports manage to progress, it will be a case of business as usual and will resume one of the fiercest rivalries on the LCK circuit, while a win for KT Rolster would set up a real underdog story in the final.
