Connor McDavid | -3000 |
Aleksander Barkov | +1400 |
Sergei Bobrovsky | +3000 |
Matthew Tkachuk | +10000 |
Connor McDavid is the massive -3000 favourite to win the Conn Smythe Trophy on Monday night.
The Oilers’ star centre has logged 11 points in the Stanley Cup Final, including back-to-back four-point games to keep Edmonton’s chances alive. McDavid needs just two points in Game 7 to equal Wayne Gretzky’s record of 13 point in a Cup final.
But will McDavid win the award even if the Oilers lose?
Aleksander Barkov (+1400) and Sergei Bobrovsky (+3000) are the only two others shorter than 100/1 to win the Conn Smythe.
Barkov has two goals and three assists in the series, and has been a solid performer despite the Panthers’ slip-ups. If Florida is to triumph in Game 7, their captain should be a huge reason why.
Bobrovsky was the favourite for the award when Florida went up 3-0, but has been on a serious downturn since, allowing 12 goals in the last three games with a .793 save percentage.
