Wednesday Night Hockey is back with a lot of star power as Artemi Panarin and the New York Rangers host the Columbus Blue Jackets.
We have a bit of a mismatch on paper in this one. Columbus is in the basement of the NHL standings once again. They are 29th in the overall standings and are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games. However, they are coming off a 4-2 win against the previously surging Rangers on Sunday.
But that should worry Blue Jackets fans. Columbus broke the Rangers nine-game win streak. I don't think that's going to sit well with a proud Rangers team who are getting the chance to avenge that game of home ice in front of a ruckus MSG crowd.
Chris Kreider has been a shooting machine lately. He is averaging over four shots and 7 shot attempts per game. Look for him to get four or more shots on goal tonight. The Rangers are poised to score, so I am also taking Adam Fox over one point tonight as the New York offence at five-on-five is on fire, plus the power play runs through Fox.
Puck Line: New York Rangers -1.5
Point Total: Adam Fox Over 0.5
Shot Total: Chris Kreider Over 3.5
