Kansas are seeking a fourth Championship and their first since 2008, and guard Christian Braun is convinced his team can go all the way after setting up a showdown against North Carolina.
"You come to Kansas for big games, but you don't come to Kansas to play in the Elite Eight," he said, via College Basketball. "You don't come to Kansas to play in the Final Four. You come to play for a championship."
In the second semi-final, the Tar Heels ended Duke's bid to win a sixth championship for coach Mike Krzyzewski and pulled off a minor upset by claiming an 81-77 victory.
The Blue Devils were heavily fancied to go all the way to take the title in Coach K's final season in charge but instead it will be North Carolina contesting Monday's Championship Game.
Tar Heels coach Hubert Davis is in his first season in charge after stepping up from his role as assistant and he feels North Carolina are well placed to secure what would be their seventh national title.
"I felt like over the last two or three years, North Carolina wasn't relevant," Davis said after Saturday's victory. "North Carolina should never be irrelevant."
