G2 Esports mid laner Rasmus "caPs" Borregaard Winther believes his side need to work on starting games strongly following their exit at the Mid-Season Invitational and is confident they can show a different side to themselves at this year's World Championship.
In the upcoming League of Legends LFL Summer, meanwhile, Team GO are 5/4 to beat Solary, who are 4/7 to prevail.
Mid laner caPs was talking after his G2 Esports side were knocked out of the Mid-Season Invitational at the semi-final stage by T1.
G2 dominated the initial group phase with an 8-0 win-loss record, before placing in the top four in the Rumble Stage of the competition with four wins and four defeats.
Red-hot T1 awaited them in the semi-finals and prevailed to set up a final with Royal Never Give Up.
But G2 can reflect on a pretty decent performance in the event and caPs believes if the team can improve their early game in future tournaments, they could surprise a few at the Worlds, considered the most prestigious event in League of Legends, later this year.

Speaking about his side's performance at the MSI to Inven Global, caPs said: "There are many takeaways from this MSI - playing against really insane players always, I learn a bunch."
"I think for us as a team, we probably have to clean up the early game a little bit - in a lot of games, we fell quite behind very fast and it was hard to make a comeback.
"If we had some close early games, we could have shown all the things we showed in Europe in the later parts of the game - so we're looking out for those, and if we could do that, you'll probably see a different G2 at Worlds."
