Benedict "Benkai" Tan hopes his Paper Rex team's previous experience of a Masters event will aid them in VALORANT's VCT Masters Reykjavik and insists mental preparation is key to their chances.
In the VCT Masters Reykjavik, Paper Rex are 5/2 to defeat DRX, who are 2/7 to win.
Paper Rex are one of four seeded teams set to enter the VCT Masters Reykjavik at the playoff stage after they won last month's APAC Challengers event.
They topped their section in the group stage of the tournament with a 2-0 record and went on to reach the Grand Final, in which they beat XERXIA 3-2.
As a result, they received a bye to the quarter-finals of the VCT Masters Reykjavik in which they will face DRX.

Should they win, they will face the winners of the quarter-final taking place between The Guard and OpTic Gaming.
It will be the team's second time competing in a VCT Masters event and "Benkai", who is a former Counter Strike: Global Offensive player, believes that experience coupled with good mental resilience will be crucial.
Speaking about his side's involvement in the VCT Masters Reykjavik, "Benkai" said: "Having the experience of going to the first Masters helped us a lot to prepare ourselves for what to expect there but, ultimately, what we learned was not the skill difference, but how mentally prepared the team is.
"Our personal goal was to reach the top eight, but with the new rules on seeding - and we are in the top eight teams, so our goal has been reached.
"I just want to have my team in a good mental space when we are there."
